Tutorial - Patching 007 eon with the gtX dash
You will need to have :
1 Backup of 007 on hdd copied with the Game Manager.2 Some time to read this properly.
Most recent versions of the gtx dash would have shipped with patch updates, you will be replacing 2 files to make 007 load. default.xbe and driving.xbe .
Step1
Fistly we need to know where abouts on your hd 007eon is on your hdd. To do this launch your Game Manager and hilight the 007 game, then press your 'white' button, a number will be displayed, this is the XXX in "\GamesList\promodXXX" ie the promod folder number. Write it it down or remember it. -For this example only i'll say it is promodXX-.
Step2
Now run xcommander, do this from the main menu by pulling the 2 triggers and pressing x.
Now x commander is launched it will look a lot like this

On the right hand side browse to the location of the game (f:\Gameslist\promod10)
You will need to press Y to go up a dir - Then select F - press A - select GamesList - press A - select your promod folder number (ie promodXX)- press A
You should see the 2 files (defualt and driving xbe's)
Step 4
now, next step is to browse to the patch folder on the left window -
To do this pull your left trigger, the cursor (red bar) will move to the left hand side
press Y until you are at the root dir (c d e f x y z will be displayed)
select the c drive by hilighing it and pressing a. keep going into these folders c \ gametronix \ game patches \ 007 \
Highlight both driving and default by pressing your B button (they will turn blue)
Step 5
Press Start - select 'copy' press A it will ask if you are sure and also whether to overwrite the existing files, answer yes and yes.
Should only take a few seconds to copy. Thats is your done. You can now highligh the default.xbe file on the right (oo7 game xbe) and press a to launch it.
Step 6
go play your game, go!
