Well it is a sunday ... we wanted to get out the apartment for a while ... we bought skates a year or so back ...because i really wanted to blade around tian anmen ... now that we have a little camera that can record video i'll have to go do that again sometime and record it! its gotta be one of the biggest outdoor areas that is smotth concrete or polished stone! anyway we just wen't for a blast around the local area... found the local skate mecca ... although it was somewhat abanoned .... must be the chilly weather. So ready to roll laopo?

yeah almost ... laopo is in the 'early stages' of her roller blade A levels ... this mum in the pic below was suitably impressed with her skills though ... but she was here infact grooming her young son ... he musn't have been much more than 5 ... make you a skating legend i will!

well i've found the next evolutionary move from my little electric bike.... those red flames rock!

then it'll be this one next ;) ... i say whatttya reckon about that one DG? (dg is our customer service rep back in the ADL workshop ... he's never around when theres a moto gp on. unless we beg him at least 3 years in advance. once i head back to adl i have to do some blogging on the local lads! Im sure china is as interested in you as much as you're all interested in china! This badboy is on display in the 'Harely' Outlet ... although i think they are mostly pedalling leather jackets and tight tee's.

well we had a chance to forget for a moment the worries of life ... nothing like a skate to get the blood pumping ... in nearly sub zero weather!

O Xmas tree ... please don't die! ......OK ...(can you say it yet? ...[sounds like "how der"]) ... well we were out an about skating and saw this ...this kindof thing is very common ...but you're not going to see it any time soom back in AUS! They have half wrapped the trees (and hedges for that matter) ... you see in BJ winter kills everything ... it very very cold and there is also little rain ... so all the plants tend to get a bit of frost bite ... unless of course you wrap em up in some tarp's! And on that note ... SNOW is forecast for tomorrow! I think come full mid winter the plants get the full rug up!
